ABOUT ME

I am an Assistant Professor of Clinical Counseling at Roosevelt University, originally hailing from the great state of Ohio. My purpose is rooted in social justice, where my calling is to create spaces, and a society for marginalized voices to be heard and empowered. I have championed my purpose through my research interests. The gaps which persist in addressing multiculturalism invigorates me and drives my work. Specifically, I am interested in HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ+ folks, people from disadvantaged backgrounds, issues affecting Black communities, and social justice.
